An easier way to get more money for your library

July 18 from 6-8 pm
Mid-York Library System will host a presentation by Dick Panz
on How to Become a School District or Public District Library
Mr. Panz has been a leader in the library field in New York State for more than 20 years. Visit his website for more details. http://www.panzlibraryconsulting.com/

This is an opportunity to ask questions of an expert. Find out if this is something that will work for your library!

Poland Library met with Dick to help them become a school district library and it worked!

When the public votes on a library budget it almost always passes. Re-charter to serve a larger territory. Collaborate with your neighbors. Talk to Poland about how they did it.

This will be one of Mr. Panz's last workshops for New York State, so don't miss it!

Check out http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/libdev/libs/pldtools/index.html for more information about the process.

Contact Mary Lou Caskey at mcaskey@midyork.org or Jacque Empey at jempey@midyork.org or 315-735-8328 to RSVP by July 16.
